Fort Hood Army Wives EXPO

Not many ppl know this about me but I'm a total spaz the night before a big event! Most of the time I can't even sleep! I am Absolutely a nervous wreck! Its almost as bad as right before I get on an airplane or any trip. Im ok once Im started or as long as I stay busy, but until then Im a highly energized ball of mush going nowhere!
Then there is the point of no return.
This is often somewhere between Making an excuse to crawl into bed And Sharing samples of Awesomeness.  Sometimes you need friends to help you get thru this ~ and the previous 24 hours. Thankfully, I chose the latter :)
I Had a Blast!
It was wonderful seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones! Not to mention making new friends :)  I didn't get a chance to see all the vendors but it was a lot of fun to see some of the craftiness and the wares the 100 vendors participating.
.... and once I started sharing the good stuff I was in my happy place.
Expo attendees voted on what they thought was the best tasting of our samples...

Our lucky winner Connie R. received a Free bag of Khave, Growers First as her door prize and certain attendees received an Old Maid playing card in their totes.

If you were there,  pull out your totes and look to see if you have a playing card from me.
If you have an Old Maid with 5 Gold stars
~ You won your choice of a case of Khave Espresso or XS Energy drink ~
If you have an Old Maid card with Stars of any other color
~ You won 5 punch outs on your loyalty card towards a free case or gift card ~
If you have a card with anybody but the Old Maid
~ You won an entry for a chance to win a $30 value Ribbon Gift Collection ~

What was your favorite part of the Expo?
What would you like to see at the next event you go to?

  1. My favorite part of the Expo was seeing you dance around to the music! He he he, oh and McGruff the Crime Dog was there. I loved the energy and the customer service from all the vendors. They were happy to be there and excited to tell you about their products.

I would love to see more totes! =D I heard they were all gone with the first 20-30 minutes with a ton of people steadily flowing in. Other than that, the Expo had wonderful variety!!

  2. Wow! This event gets bigger every year! Next time I'll have extra game pieces on hand - I had been told to plan for 250 and I hear there were over 600 in attendance.
